Off road Safari Jeep

We have had a fabulous day today, getting a tour of the island by a rather different route. Some main roads but lots of forest tracks and mud tracks. On another hot day it was nice to have the air flying in from the open air jeeps.

We went across the whole island, seeing lots of great sights. At Sandy Lane the boys were disappointed not to see any famous faces with Joe Young inquiring whether he could use his David Lloyd gym membership card to get into his private residence out here...

The boys are doing well, are full of life and raring to go with 3 matches coming in 3 days now. They are even eating relatively healthily! We are hoping for some good performances with the bat.

I'm glad that we got through to most parents yesterday - we will try to catch any we didn't if time permits. If not we shall call later in the week anyhow. I think I know how to work the phones here now...it's not as easy as you might think...especially if you lose your temper after the 30th attempt!

Apologies for the strange large photos appearing. I will try to post some more (standard size) in the next couple of days.

  1. Hello again Fred. Love all the photos. The weather has been beautiful here at home and everyone is in summer clothes - not as hot as Barbados though! Will went to the Man U match yesterday - it was a good game. You probably know the score was 0-0 - that's a good result. The Royal Wedding is causing great excitement here - it's in all the papers and on TV- I know you're not into it but the grannies are looking forward to coming to ours to watch it! Leo is missing you - no-one to growl at...! Will look out for any messages from you. The safari sounded good fun. Lots of love mum xxx
